Tennis

There are 8 outdoor clay and astroturf courts which offer the most incredible setting to improve your game in. There are also 4 indoor hard courts which offer all year round tennis practice. We partner with the Leysin Tennis Club who provide excellent coaching which we integrate lessons around our academic schedule for students for are looking to stretch their performance capabilities in this sport.

If the players are of the right level they can join MCS Tennis Academy or be entered into Swiss tournaments in addition to having school matches against other schools in the SGIS (Swiss Group of Internal Schools) circuit. Malvern also hosts it own tournament in the summer.

Skiing / Snowboarding

Malvern is a 10 minute walk to the Telecabin which opens the doors to over 60km of piste with unique view of Lac Leman from the summit’s famous revolving restaurant, Kuklos.

Leysin is blessed with stunning sunny slopes and treeline skiing in a safe and contained area. There is a World class snow park with a half pipe where many of the Freestyle competition skiers come to train.

In the Winter season students can ski on a Tuesday and Thursday morning as well as on weekends. The Leysin Ski School has excellent instructors who are available to help develop the pupil’s abilities on the mountain.

Climbing

There is an outside climbing wall onsite which can be used when the weather is good as well as 3 excellent inside climbing walls within a 30 minute drive. The mountains around us also offer some incredible mountaineering opportunities including some fantastic Via Ferratas.
